Intellectual Property & Trade Marks
This notice explains who owns the OHMLEY brand and software, what you may and may not do with it, and who owns the information you put into the platform.
Ownership of the platform
The OHMLEY platform — including its software, source code, database structure, interface design, layouts, graphics, icons, report templates, documentation and all text on this website — is owned by OHMLEY LTD or its licensors and is protected by copyright, database right and other intellectual property laws of England and Wales and equivalent laws elsewhere. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The OHMLEY name and logo
- OHMLEY, the OHMLEY wordmark and the OHMLEY logo are trade marks of the operating company shown in our Legal Notice.
- Trade mark applications may be pending; unregistered rights, including goodwill protected by the law of passing off, are asserted in any event.
- You may not register, use or apply for any name, domain, logo, social handle or trade mark that is identical or confusingly similar to OHMLEY.
- You may not remove, obscure or alter any OHMLEY branding, copyright notice or attribution in the platform or in documents it generates, except where the platform itself offers white-label or custom-branding settings to your company.
Third-party names and logos shown in the platform (for example those of hosting or payment providers) remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.
Permitted brand use
- Customers and partners may refer to OHMLEY by name in plain text to describe that they use the service.
- Use of the OHMLEY logo in marketing, resale, integrations, press or merchandising requires our prior written permission.
- Do not use our branding in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, certification or affiliation that does not exist.
- Do not use our branding in a misleading, defamatory or unlawful context, or as part of a competing product's promotion.
Your content stays yours
Jobs, photographs, drawings, forms, signatures, reports and other data you or your engineers upload remain the property of your company. You grant us only the licence we need to host, process, back up, display and transmit that content in order to provide the service to you, and to comply with the law. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train third-party AI models. Where optional AI features are used, content is sent to the provider named in our Legal Notice solely to return the result you asked for.
Feedback
If you send us suggestions or feature ideas, you agree we may use them to improve the platform without obligation or payment. This does not give us any rights in your confidential business information.
Restrictions
- No copying, reselling, sublicensing, framing or white-labelling of the platform outside your subscription.
- No reverse engineering, decompiling or attempting to derive source code, except to the limited extent that this cannot be prohibited by law.
- No scraping, bulk extraction or reuse of any substantial part of the platform's contents or databases.
- No use of the platform to build a competing product or service.
Reporting infringement
If you believe content on OHMLEY infringes your intellectual property, contact support@ohmley.com with a description of the work, the location of the material, your contact details, and a statement that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them. We will investigate and remove or disable infringing material where appropriate.
