Accessibility Statement
OHMLEY is used on site, in vans and in the office, often one-handed and in poor light. We want everyone on a team to be able to use it, whatever their ability or device.
Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. This statement reflects the platform as it stands today; it is reviewed whenever we make a significant change and at least annually.
What we have built in
- Mobile-first layouts that reflow to phone, tablet and laptop widths without horizontal scrolling.
- Large touch targets on the actions engineers use with gloves on site.
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus outlines, plus a command palette for keyboard-first users.
- Semantic headings, labelled form fields, descriptive buttons and alternative text on meaningful images.
- Colour contrast tested against the AA threshold, and status never conveyed by colour alone — icons and text always accompany it.
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences and for the text size set in your device or browser.
- Error messages that explain what went wrong and how to fix it, announced to assistive technology.
Known limitations
- Signature capture requires drawing on screen; where a signature cannot be drawn, an administrator can record the sign-off on the signer's behalf with a note.
- Some generated PDF reports are not yet fully tagged for screen readers; the same information is always available on screen in accessible form.
- Complex analytics charts are supplemented by figures in text, but detailed trend exploration is easier visually.
- Third-party components (for example map and payment interfaces) may not fully meet AA.
Assistive technology and browsers
OHMLEY is tested with recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS and Android, including with VoiceOver and TalkBack. Older browsers may work but are not actively supported.
Feedback and reporting a problem
If you hit an accessibility barrier, or need information in a different format, contact support@ohmley.com. Please tell us the page, what you were trying to do and the device or assistive technology you use. We aim to acknowledge within 5 working days and to agree a fix or a workaround with you.
Enforcement
OHMLEY is a private-sector business service, so the public sector accessibility regulations do not apply to it. We still treat accessibility as a legal and ethical duty under the Equality Act 2010 and will make reasonable adjustments on request.
